Description

This talk shows how to design intuitive games and play for the emerging platforms of virtual and augmented reality. AR and VR each have their own strengths and affordances that are often limited because developers tend to see them through the lenses of old paradigms such as computer monitors and smart phone screens. Learn how to approach these technologies from a playful designer's perspective and "affordance mine" them to devise novel experiences that take full advantage of what these platforms have to offer and will appeal to a broad audience.
