In November, 2014 NSF International initiated a pilot with Google (one of their customers) to explore the use of wearable technology as a means to create both a more interactive and cost effective means to conduct food safety auditing. Today, NSF employs wearable technology around the globe for many applications across the food industry. The last 2 1/2 years has been a constant learning process as both the wearable hardware and supporting software has continued to evolve. This presentation will share those learnings, as well as discuss the broad range of applications that are currently in use.
