Sessions
  • Convergence of the Digital and Physical Worlds
    09:00 AM - 09:25 AM May 31
Jim Heppelmann, CEO of PTC, and Professor Michael Porter of the Harvard Business School, collaborated on a multi-year research project to define the impact of Augmented Reality (AR) in the enterprise. Their previous research, published in two Harvard Business Review articles, defines how the IoT transforms competition and companies. Today, IoT and digital transformation initiatives multiply the volume and variety of data, but the means by which humans interact with this data has not kept pace. This visionary and research driven keynote by Jim Heppelmann explains how AR is enabling humans, across every function in the enterprise, to make better decisions faster.
