Dr. ir. Dragos Datcu has worked over 13 years in research projects in the fields of military, safety, and security, with 6 of those years focused on AR technology. He has contributed in coordinating, researching and validating the most successful project on collaborative Augmented Reality technology for the Dutch Police and for the Dutch Forensic Institute (see NewScientist UK online article “Dutch police use augmented reality to investigate crime scenes”, 21 November 2016). As a Principal Researcher at TWNKLS, he is currently leading two research projects that integrate state-of-the art research findings into viable commercial products for safety and security.
