Bio
Joseph is an active law enforcement officer serving 22 years with a suburban police department in NJ. In 2003 he was assigned to a regional computer crimes task force. He has taught nationally on the topics of cyber-crime, augmented reality, virtual worlds, cyber-terrorism, cyber-bullying and undercover IRC investigations. He has taught members of International law enforcement at Microsoft in Redmond WA, in the Ontario Canadian Providence, and taught cyber-crime topics to all levels of law enforcement for the National Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. Joseph's love of technology inspired him to join the Augmented Reality of New York Meetup (ARNY) and led to him co-authoring the book - Augmented Reality: An Emerging Technologies Guide to AR (Syngress Publishing). Joseph is the creator of the Augmented Reality Dirt Podcast (ARdirt.com) and talks about AR and emerging technologies and how they influence society, cyber-crime and our legal system.
