Guido M. Re, Ph.D., has almost 10 year of experience (combined between Academia and Industry) in new technologies for industry, in particular Augmented Reality. Prior fuel.tech, he was involved in private projects involving Virtual Reality and before that he was in Academia, conducting research in the field of Industrial Augmented Reality. During his period in Academia, he was involved in all the technological aspects of Augmented Reality, in particular Interaction, Visualization and Tracking, both on mobile, wearable and desktop solutions, and he investigated the deploy of Augmented Reality in the industrial sector for Product Design, Assembly, Maintenance and Inspection. At fuel.tech he is the internal SME for projects involving Industrial Augmented Reality, either mobile or wearable, and he is responsible for their architecture, development and deploy.
