  • Social VR for the Enterprise as the new Engagement Platform
    04:30 PM - 04:45 PM Jun 1
Social VR for the Enterprise (SVRE) is a novel concept that combines Enterprise VR (EVR) with the real-life interaction of Social VR (SVR) currently mainly used in games/entertainment. EVR and SVR combined generate a completely new branch of virtual reality (SVRE). So far EVR and SVR have largely remained separate. However, the use that businesses do of social media, as well as of live chat on their websites, show the need for direct interaction in Customer Engagement (CE). CE implies interaction with both content and people. This means personalized brand experiences + easy access to company reps. By combining the creation of brand experiences and interaction with products, with the direct interaction with company reps and the community, SVRE is set to reinvent CE. The presentation explores why SVRE has not yet become a defined area of VR, and provides data and case studies showing the effectiveness of SVRE for CE, as well trends towards the development of SVRE and of a paradigm shift in CE.
