Bio
Linda first had her mind blown by VR in 1990 (chasing gremlins at VPL Research and playing virtual music at Fakespace Labs), and decided to devote her life to helping people benefit by using the new medium. Today Linda is director of VR/AR projects for Treasure8, supports biz dev and content marketing for start-ups, and brings mobile VR to assisted-living communities. She previously served as the world’s first professional Virtual Reality Evangelist (at Silicon Graphics); co-founding editor of Wired; co-founder and emcee for San Francisco’s first VR user group; and author of *Garage Virtual Reality* and *CyberArts: Exploring Art & Technology*. Linda later started and ran a VR production and marketing studio (2001-2005), then led communications for Xerox’s Palo Alto Research Center.
