Bio
Fernanda Herrera holds a BS in Psychology from the University of Texas in Austin and is currently a PhD student in the Department of Communication at Stanford University. Fernanda's research interests focus on the psychosocial effects of new media and technology. She is currently conducting several studies at the Virtual Human Interaction Lab that focus on the effects of interacting in virtual environments as they pertain to empathy, education, social interaction, and embodiment.
