Brent Blum founded the Wearable Technology Practice at Accenture and lead day-to-day operations within Accenture Technology. His responsibilities include oversight of thought leadership, business development, asset development, sales, and delivery. Since 2013, he has scaled the wearables practice to include dozens of Fortune 500 clients, teams in three countries, 500+ community of practice members, a presence at major conferences and key relationships throughout the wearable technology ecosystem. Prior to formally starting Accenture’s wearable technology practice, Brent was a developer on the LifeShirt project and product manager for Verizon’s wearable emergency response service, SureResponse. Brent’s work within enterprise wearables has been recognized by Forbes, CBS and TechCrunch. He holds a degree in Management Information Systems from Wake Forest University.
