Gaia Dempsey Co-Founder & Vice President, DAQRI Labs Gaia Dempsey is a creative strategist and pioneer in the field of augmented reality, driving the adoption of DAQRI’s augmented reality and holographic technologies worldwide. Gaia led DAQRI’s international expansion and opened DAQRI’s first European office in Dublin, Ireland. As Vice President of DAQRI Labs, Gaia is charged with spearheading the commercialization of global research and development initiatives, supporting M&A activity, and developing partnership opportunities. Gaia previously served as DAQRI’s vice president of marketing, overseeing brand development and strategy. With extensive experience bringing products to market, she oversaw the launch of DAQRI’s major projects, including the DAQRI Smart Helmet, the world’s first professional-grade human machine interface for the enterprise. For her work in Ireland, she was acknowledged by Irish America magazine in the Top 50 Power Women awards, which recognise the achievements of the most influential and innovative Irish and Irish American women across all fields. Prior to DAQRI, Gaia co-founded Demeter Interactive, a digital marketing and communications firm, where she provided marketing and strategy services to tech startups and companies focused on sustainability. Gaia received a Bachelor of Arts from New York University.
